The company's R&D division has long been engaged in the development of new products and new applications in the field of environmental sustainability, just as over the years we have always tried to keep up with the continuous technological and IT evolutions. This has allowed us to sustain continuous growth and greater competitiveness, creating the conditions for business continuity and above all for the differentiation of business sectors.
On the wave of environmental sustainability, Promau has created the 'Energy efficiency division’ by studying a system for recovering the heat from kitchen fumes. It is a patented heat exchanger, which prevents the greases and oils contained in the exhaust fumes of the kitchens from clinging to the heat exchange coils, maintaining a very high efficiency of the system.
The investment, also thanks to government contributions from the PNNR, is repaid over a year and a half.

The acquisition of an international patent (KtV®) relating to air sanitization by photocatalysis has allowed the company to develop a very special first product: it is TAI-LOR®, a collection of polyurethane foam panels, milled in 12 variants and covered with microfibers in 12 colors, which have been equipped on the back with an air sanitization device. We have therefore combined the elegance of Italian style and Design with an important air sanitization function.
Using the peculiarities of the KtV® patent combined with a second Electrostatic filtration technology, the company has developed a second product for use in industrial environments. The great air treatment capacity and the quality of the treated air, places this product at the top of air filtration and sanitization technology. In addition, the ability to remove Ethylene from the air makes it suitable for the preservation of fruit and vegetables, increasing the useful life of these products.
